Sleepy Sarasota has awakened! Sarasota used to be a retirement town, and while people still retire here, it is getting younger every year. In a growing city like Sarasota, downtown is the place to be. Here you will find newer condos lining Sarasota Harbor and Main Street. Marina Tower, Plaza at Five Points, One Hundred Central, Marquee en Ville, are just some of the condo towers newer to Sarasota. Some are under construction and many still planned. The newer buildings are rich with amenities, including concierge, gymnasium, theater room, swimming pool, security, on site manager, guest suites, cabanas, and outdoor seating & cooking areas, etc. The condo units can range from small one bedroom units to a 6,000 square foot penthouse. Being downtown provides you easy access to the art galleries, Sarasota harbor, theaters, performing arts center, shows, boutiques and world class restaurants. Units with the better water views, in the newer buildings would command the highest values. Sarasota Downtown Condos start around $300k for smaller units in the older buildings, and can go up into the multi-millions for the larger units in newer buildings.
Lido Key Condos
Lido Key has evolved into a world class destination. With it’s beautiful beaches, parks, restaurants, shopping and entertainment, it is easy to see why. Condominiums are available on the beach side only, with some units having city views to the east. The Ritz Carlton Beach Club is located here along with some very exclusive places, such as the L’Elegance and The Orchid Beach Club. Most of the buildings are directly on the beach. Lido Key condos facing the beach will command the higher values. Condos start in the $200k’s and go up to the millions.
Lido Key Waterfront Condos
Condos are very popular on Lido Key since this Key is in high demand with international tourists. Lido Key waterfront condos can be found on the beachside, and most are within a short walk to world renowned St Armand’s Circle. You can enjoy a luxury lifestyle if you choose The Ritz Carlton Beach Club, The Orchid Beach Club or L’Elegance. Other older popular buildings include Lido Beach Club, St Armand’s Towers, Lido Regency, and Lido Towers. Prices will depend on the building and the view of the unit, with units in a range from the low $300k’s to over $7 million.
Lido Key Luxury Condos
Lido Key is fairly casual and laid back. But you will find several high end condos located on the beach. They are The Ritz Carlton Beach Club, The Orchid Beach Club, and L’Elegance. These are all newer buildings with offering the best in condo living. The Ritz provides for more of a resort experience. All three offer the amenities expected in world class resorts and many of the units enjoy unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. Lido Key luxury condos start around $1 million to over $5 million.
